Thanks Marianne, DM Peter and Dive Timor staff for your outstanding hospitality. Truly lovely diving and appreciated the availability of some exciting drift dives also (well at least one of us did!). Looking forward to a return visit.

Thanks to the guys @ Dive Timor Lorosae esp Mariane for being so friendly. Trip up the coast snorkling over exceptional reefs - such as asset ... colours, diversity & abundance just beautiful, we had a great day. Checking things out along the way our bus had to pull over to let a whole village pass in their Good Friday procession - it was pretty awesome!

East Timor is cool & deserving of your attention - the dive shop is a great place to start!

I have now been in Timor for a week, working for Dive Timor. The diving here is beyond belief, I was so surprised to see such a healthy underwater ecosystem. The Few dives I have done so far (dirt track - for one) rate within my top 5 dives ever. It is up there with whale sharks and mantas in Mozambique, wreck and kelp diving in Melbourne, For variety of live vibrant coral, diversity of fishes and critters make this place unbelievably special. The Dive center itself is exceptionally we run by Marrianne, I so look forward to being a part of this team. Thank you for such a warm welcome into your team. I'm sure we will have a lot of fun going forward.
Greg.

Thank you very much to all Dive Timor crew for their hospitality and professionalism . I was little bit nervous as i was going to dive after a long break but it turned into full fun. My special thanks to Marianne and Dim. I really appreciate your patience and hard work...and, also thanks to Chris for helping me in beginning days. The Burger at Castaway was Yummmy !!!!

Marianne, Mark & Will - Thanks so much for a great 10 days in February. The diving was awesome and after careful consideration, I reckon that Tasi Tolu IS my best dive ever. It beats stiff competition from Lembeh, the Maldives, the Similans, Malapascua, Layang Layang, Sipadan, Grand Cayman, Utila, etc. Anytime I see so many new exotic species on a single dive for my first time ever, it has to be a great dive. At Tasi Tolu, I saw my first paddle-flap scorpionfish (Rhinopias eschmeyeri), weedy scorpionfish (Rhinopias frondosa), Halimeda ghost pipefish (Solenostomus halimeda), Napolean (a.k.a. clown) snake eel (Ophichthus bonaparti)thorny seahorses (Hippocampus hystrix), and dugong (Dugong dugon) . And that does not even count the painted frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish, banded pipefish, leaf scorpionfish, octopus, numerous nudibranchs, harlequin shrimp, anemone shrimp, banded coral shrimp, razor fish and so many species for lionfish and baby scorpionfish, etc. A WORLD-CLASS DIVESITE!!

Thanks again to everyone at the shop and at the Castaway. I miss the smiles and I can't wait to go back!

Just wanted to let all potential divers know that the team at Dive Timor did a great job - Marianne, Gabrielle, Roger and Bevan made the truly excellent diving even more enjoyable.

To all those considering going - don't hesitate - do it now (ignore the travel warnings, they're b#llsh*t)!

And to the guys and gals behind the bar at Castaways, the margaritas were just as good. (Pretty sure your profits will plunge now Nick (Fenno) and I have shot through)

All the best - I'll be back before too long I hope.
