You guys are awesome! Especially Marianne and Martin and your cowbell! I doubled my dive experience with you in Timor and became enthralled with the tropics as I was exposed to an underwater wonderland! Dam shame I had to leave early and hope to return for more adventures in the future. Thanks heaps! |

I thank Mark and Dive Timor Lorosae staff for the fantastic experience with the course of Discover Scuba Diving that I realized last April 27. It was really safety and I’m lucky that was in a so beautiful place like this new country (East Timor).
Till next time!

Thinking about coming to Dili for diving? Go ahead, its the best thing you can do... I took a detour from West-Timor, out of curiosity. A lot of websites warn of coming to East timor, but it was the best thing i could do. The country is safe, even after the last rebel activities, and the diving is superb. I have dived all over the Caribbean and the South Pacific, and this is one of the best spots i have found. Not for big fish, but for lots and lots of colorful soft corals and small marine life. The great staff at Dive Lorosae was able to take us to places where it was pretty much guaranteed to see seahorses, frogfish, lionfish etc. and yes, i saw all of it, but still remained most impressed by all the colorful, intact soft coral... and since there are no tourists at all in East Timor, the dive sites are all completely empty and unspoilt!
My best greetings to Mark, Brent and the rest of the staff at Dive Lorosae. I hope i can came back one day...

I came to Dili for a short stay and on a low budget, and initially didn't plan to dive this visit... Am I glad I changed my mind? You bet, you! OK, so it wasn't the best time of the year with regard to visibility... Who cares? I had great diving anyway, and can hardly wait to get back - this time hopefully with a camera that actually works. So, what was so special? Apart from abundant marine life and dive sites not yet damaged by human activity, I was diving with staff that knew exactly where all the cool and special "fish mates" as well as their friends and enemies were living. I had absolutely great diving! Thanks Volker, Mark & Martin - will definitely come back for more great diving, hopefully soon! |

Did some diving in mid-February. Despite a few dives of poor viz due to the runoff, the diving is excellent and staff at DTL very professional. I'll be back when the viz gets better! |

As a newly certified open water diver, I found the training and experience very invigorating. I saw a new world. Volker and Martin professional and open ended instruction made it so easy to enjoy and learn at the same time. Highly recommended. |

I found the instructors to be expericenced, professional, friendly and patient. I was very satified with the training provided to me with the open water certificate that I then completed the advance certificate directly after. I now feel confident to try new adventures when diving. Thanks to all the friendly staff at Timor Dive, I would recommended the dive center to any of my frineds interested in diving. |

We never stop diving in Timor :) Night dive last night was fun with the police check points, but other than that things are normal.
And we always have a buddy for you to dive with Derek! |

Just got back from diving in Timor Leste. Even in the wet season the diving is still spectacular. Virgin coral and unspoiled sites, this is a rare and unique place. Thanks guys for a great experience and a profesional organisation, definately be back. |

Scuba diving will always be an activity that involves risk, skill and dedication. Learning how to dive with Dive Timor Leste (DTL), allowed my to learn and harness this allowing me to enjoy the beauty of the "world down under". What makes learning how to dive with DTL is the quality and personal attention the instructor (Volker) provides his students. Thus, given this advantage one receives with DTL, diving becomes a truly exciting and worthwhile activity which one seeks to continue for fun, cammaraderie and growth.
PS
(enjoy the break Volker, you deserve it and see you for my "advance") |

Boas. Quando cheguei, tinha logo a intencao de fazer o curso. Todos o faziam quando se iam embora, mas se diziam ser tao espectacular, porque nao o fazer logo no inicio? Sem palavras... A experiencia inesquecivel, os instrutores excelentes, as memorias, essas inexplicaveis. Recomenda-se, quanto mais cedo melhor. Um grande abraco e muito obrigado.

Hi. When i arrived, i had the meaning to do the Dive Course. Everybody were doing it, just before leaving Timor, but, if they said that it was so spectacular, why shouldn’t I do it as soon as possible? No words… The unforgettable experience, the excellent instructors, the memories, that ones, unexplainable. Recommended, as soon the better. Big hug, and THANK YOU VERY MUCH |

Hi there
In the beginning of November I took a few days off to go diving in East Timor. I did not know what to expect but it turned out to be great. Very nice diving and helpful dive guides. When I was going home for Christmas Volker told me " If you don´t write in the guest book you will not be let of this island." Well, now I am home but will return shortly and after I have written this I hope can look forward to many more dives with Dive Timor. |
